Magic angle, Meissner-effect, and ultimate stealth

The stealth technology of yesterday bases that the shape of the airplane or some other object would turn the radars radiation away from the transmitter. In modern systems, the idea is that the layer will be covered by using nano-size shapes like "magic angle", which is reflecting the radiation away from the transmitter.

The idea is that when the radiation comes from the ground, the system would reflect it in another direction, and that thing makes it possible that the aircraft is not possible to see from the ground by using the radars. The magic angle can turn every radiation from the observer but that thing requires 100% reflection.

The 90 degrees of polarization in terahertz frequency has been made by using the magic angle, but a similar technology can be used by using the other wavelengths of radiation. So theoretically magic angle can transform an object invisible.

The Meissner-effect and stealth

The Meissner effect means that when the atom or some other particle has been cooled near the absolute zero Kelvin temperature the magnetic fields are starting to go past that object. The Meissner effect is possible in the superconductors when the temperature is under the critical level.

So by cooling the outer layer of the aircraft to superconducting conditions, that thing would help to make the aircraft invisible. Because the Meissner effect is possible when the temperature of the layer is extremely low, that thing removes also the infrared signature from the aircraft. So cooling the layer is one of the versions of modern stealth technology.

The use of the Meissner effect is making it possible to create the next-generation protection against the EMP pulse. If the things like electric wires are turned superconducting the EMP pulse would not touch the layer of the wire. And that thing causes, that the EMP would not touch to that object. The fact is that the Meissner effect could be possible also in optical frequencies of electromagnetic radiation. If that thing is possible, the system would make the object invisible.
