Can we someday create a spacecraft, that can travel even to the other solar systems by using some other power sources than nuclear reactors? There is the possibility that someday researchers can create the solar panel, which can benefit X- or gamma rays for making the energy in the interstellar space.
In some visions around the interstellar spacecraft is traveling "helpers" the probes, which mission is to collect energy from GRBs (Gamma-ray bursts), XRBs (X-ray burst), or FRBs (Fast Radio Bursts). The probe just flies in the burst loads its batteries, and then docs to the mothership, and transfers its energy load to the mothership.
In some other versions, the antimatter can collect by using the magnetic collector, which benefits the solar power. The beta-radiation or high-energetic electrons, that are coming out from the sun can change to antimatter. And then that antimatter can be stored in a magnetic bottle. That that antimatter can load to spacecraft in the bottle. Or it can let annihilate around giant lasers, and that annihilation would make it possible to send energy and communication signals to very long distances.
Antimatter can be used in fuel cells like hydrogen, and it gives more power than any other energy source. The energy can collect from the antimatter fuel cells by using silicon panels but there can also connect the turbogenerator in that system.
Super NERVA and Super Orion would allow traveling the entire solar system very freely. And those systems can also make it possible to make interstellar traveling.
The NERVA and Orion could have updates, which makes them even more capable than ever before. That update is the use of antimatter as the "octane booster" for nuclear thermal propulsion.
The "Super NERVA" will use antimatter, which is created by shooting the Beta-particles or fast electrons through the thin gold layer. In that case, the particle accelerator will accelerate electrons, and that gold layer would turn them into antimatter. That antimatter will be driven to the nozzle of the engine, and that will make NERVA even more capable than ever before.
The "Super Orion" would use the plutonium pellets, which are loaded with lithium, and then it would shoot the laser ray through that plasma. This kind of system would make it possible to create extremely fast photons or electrons for giving the thrust.
Quantum engines will make the dream of interstellar traveling possible.
The same quantum wires, what is used to transport data in a quantum computer can also be used to create the exhaust gas, that travels faster than the speed of light. The idea is simple the quantum wire, where is superpositioned and quantum entangled particles can take the protons or electrons to the event horizon of the quantum size black hole.
And that thing makes it possible to make exhaust gas, which travels faster than the speed of light. The idea is that particle travels in the quantum channel so close or even through the event horizon before it is released. So if we want to model that thing in real life, that system is similar to the case, that the nozzle of a rocket engine will touch the black hole and that allows the exhaust gas to travel with the escaping velocity inside the event horizon.
The quantum engines, which are basing the idea that the particles would shoot to very small black holes by using the channels of quantum entangled particles can create the exhaust gas, that will cross the speed of the light. The craft would make the quantum-size black holes behind it, and then it would send the superpositioned and quantum-entangled particle to the event horizon, and shoot the particles to black hole through that channel.
But why we would want to go to the edge of the solar system? The answer is free energy. There is a cloud of high-energetic electrons, and those electrons might use to give the free energy for the systems, that are operating in Kuiper Belt. Those systems can be quantum computers, that require extremely stable conditions. The energy can collect by using radio antennas, and then transmit to quantum computers.
