Are intelligent civilizations doomed or not?

Sooner or later universe is losing all its energy, and the material is turning to wave movement. That is the end to the species, or maybe those final species are at a technological level, that they can turn their material to dark matter. But the question is, what is the future of the technical species during the life of the universe?

The fact is that the evolution continues, and maybe the humans would be replaced by some other species, what is the result of the evolution of humans, but then we must realize that for living forever that species need to fly to stars. Without that skill, the civilization or species will be destroyed when their sun is losing its energy and destroys its planets in nova or supernova eruption. So the end of the intelligent species is waiting and sooner or later the species would turn unknown for its ancestors.

If some people are moving to space for all their life that thing would sooner or later turn those space-born people into space humans, which are not ever visit on planets. Those space humans would live their entire life at the space stations, and they will never return to Earth. Sooner or later the first "space babies" are born, and that brings the situation that there are no connections between those space people with people, who are living on the planets.

So why those space people would even visit on Earth or some other planet? Their muscles and bones would be very weak. And that means that those people would lose their relationship with gravity. They would live their entire life in some space stations, without contact with gravity

But are the intelligent species make the suicide, or are they destroying each other in cosmic wars? That is one of the most interesting questions. In some scenarios, the civilization would make colonies to space, and then there is the possibility that there will be conflicts between colonies and the capital planet of the civilization. The weapons race is one of the things, that can destroy intelligent species.

The fact is that the technically advanced civilization is better protected against catastrophes than the so-called dummy civilizations. If the meteorites will hit the planet where the technical civilization is living, there is the possibility that this kind of civilization can protect itself against those impacts. But if the technical level of the civilizations is too low, that thing means that there is no way, how to stop the impact.

The fact is that all civilizations are destroyed sooner or later, but the way how the civilization or species is destroyed depends on the attitudes of the species. In the best version, the evolution transforms species to the direction, where the result is unknown to the ancestors. If we are thinking of some species in human evolution like Homo Erectus, we must realize that we are far from Homo Erectus. Even if we are in the same evolution line with that species, we are more complicated than our ancestors. We could not communicate with that ancestor of mankind, even if we are advanced from that species. Or maybe we should think that the origin of all existing species was the cell, which swam in the primeval sea.

Evolution created big brains, which made it possible to think, predict and develop things. And the ability to think abstract things and turn them into reality is dangerous. That ability has brought us complicated society along with complicated crises, that are requiring complicated weapons. The thing that the individuals of advanced civilizations must learn is to live in peace. And maybe we are learning that skill, and if that skill is learned, that will make the bright future for the advanced civilization and species, what calls itself "Homo Sapiens".
