Can an Artificial intelligence-controlled machine fill the description of the "Alien creature"?

When we are thinking about alien hypotheses and UFOs we must realize one thing: the "alien UFO" is not necessarily organic. The UFO can be the Artificial Intelligence controlled machine, that can make copies of itself and repair its damages independently. So in this case the UFO could be the "Von Neumann-machine". 

In data sciences, that term means self-replicated computer programs. But the term "Von Neumann machine" can also mean robot, which makes copies of itself. Can this kind of machine that defends itself and makes other similar machines (the descendants) fill the description of the living creature?

The "Von Neumann-machine" means independently operating- self-replicating and self-repairing robot. In robotics, the Von Neumann machine is a physical version of a computer virus. As I just wrote. So even if this kind of robot aircraft is human-made, can we call it an "alien".  In this model, the craft is controlled by the independently operating artificial intelligence, which can make escape and evasion maneuvers automatically, and which uses a little bit differently positioned engine systems than the regular aircraft.

There is an article on Futurism.com about this topic. And before there is a captured UFO in the hangar there is no path that can close from the research. Before the research is completed and the physical object is investigated, every possibility must be kept open. 

When we are thinking about the alien hypothesis. In the fresh memories are things like AREA-51, other solar systems, and some other things like miniature space shuttles. Those things were claimed as a hoax or product of the imagination, and then suddenly they existed. So how long the list about things "they surely have not existed" or something like that is not even possible can be? 

The fact is that UFOs:s are moving fascinatingly, but they are not breaking natural laws. The engineers can make extraordinary movements by using radially positioned jet engines. And if the system is remotely controlled, that allows very fast acceleration and steep curves. If we want to make the acceleration, which is extremely fast. 

We can use VTOL aircraft with two engine pairs. The engines that thrust is positioned down can keep the aircraft levitating. Then the forward and backward thrusting engines will accelerate to maximum thrust. And then the brake engines will shut down. That effect will make the aircraft accelerating extremely fast, and brake engines can also slow the speed incredibly fast. 

That kind of system is making it possible. That also man-made craft can levitate and move like a dream. The noise of the engines can suppress by using the sound channel. If motors exhausting gas is surrounded by the focused sound waves, that pressure channel is denying the sound can hear from outside that channel. And craft seems silent.
