The photon can put move faster than other photons by shooting it into hot plasma

 


 

What if a photon rocket shoots photons to extremely hot plasma?


The speed of light can be broken by shooting light pulses in a hot plasma, but if the same thing can do with electrons, that thing would make it possible to create the rocket, which travels faster than light. The thrust, which electron can give is higher than photons. But even if crossing the speed of light is possible only by using photons, that thing can benefit in photon rocket in far away in future. Or in the new type of quantum computers, where qubits must travel at extremely high speed.

The speed of light can cross by shooting photons in quantum tunnels, where are no electromagnetic fields. So in this tube, the photon travels faster than other photons. But if the photon is replaced by using an electron, which travels faster than photons in the medium, the exhausting particle from that kind of engine is traveling a short time faster than the speed of light in the medium. For working this kind of system must use particles, that have mass, and the speed in those quantum tubes is higher than the speed of photons around the craft.

There is the possibility that the plasma engines, where microwaves are turning the ions into extremely hot plasma, will connect with photon rockets. When the speed of the craft is accelerated to high enough, the photon engine will start to shoot photons in that plasma, and if we are believing ScienceAlert, that thing makes it possible to create a specific impulse for photon rocket, which travels higher than the speed of light. The fact is that the photon rocket is still in the theoretical stage so that technology is not probably taking us to Alpha Centauri very soon.

The photon can travel faster than other photons if it travels in heated plasma. But can some other particles like electrons make the same thing?

This is an interesting thing, that photons and maybe some other particles can break the cosmic speed limit in the hot plasma. This technology would not take us to Alpha Centauri faster than we could travel now, but the fact is that the beginning to turn theories into practice is always hard. But we can say that ever say never.

The quantum computer is one of the best examples of things, that suppose being impossible. But then suddenly the world is full of quantum hype, and those systems are advancing faster than any time before, and that thing means that many other things are possible, if we are making hard work with those things.

And even if we can shoot the single electrons through the air with speed, which is faster than the speed of light, that thing means that it would open new roads for computing and communication. The ability to shoot particles to target through the very thin plasma channel, which is made by using the laser ray makes it also possible to send the positrons or other antimatter particles to the target.

That plasma channel can be made by using microwaves, and that thing makes the new type of engines and weapons possible. The anti-electron load would destroy every target, where it hits. And the electro-static engines are close to weapon solutions. The laser-photon engines can be used as weapons as well as interstellar engines.

In some ideas, the antimatter-material annihilation can give power to that kind of laser engine. The annihilation will happen around the laser element, and that thing gives extremely powerful light to that system. This system can connect with antimatter engines, what is accelerating the craft to the speed, what is so close to the speed of light, what is possible. Then the lasers will shoot to that plasma.

In a more conventional system, the modified rocket stage can be used for that purpose, but the power of the laser ray is weaker, and the use of the conventional rocket is more some kind of SDI weapon, which is parked in the orbiter trajectory. The engine itself is a laser, which uses the acetylene light around it to make the laser ray.

And in some ideas, the Saturn 5 rocket's 2nd or 3rd stage can turn to this kind of system. The laser element would install through the stage, and then the laser light will be made by using the acetylene light. That kind of lasers could be really powerful. But that is more weapon solution than the engine.

The ability to make the particles, which are traveling faster than the speed of light are making it possible to create exhaust gas or exhaust particles, which are traveling faster than the speed of light. So if a photon rocket shoots photons to the extremely hot plasma, that thing allows creating photons, which is traveling faster than other photons. The plasma can be made by using microwaves, and at the first plasma would shoot back by using magnetic accelerators. When the speed of the craft is high enough, the photon engine will start to operate, it will shoot photons to the plasma, which makes this thing travel faster than the speed of light.
